Effective Plan Dates: Jan 1, 2026 — Dec 31, 2026

While our medical plans handle the big picture, voluntary benefits are here to protect your paycheck and your peace of mind when life throws an unexpected curveball.

These plans pay cash directly to you, helping cover costs that medical insurance won’t, so you can stay focused on your health (and your family, including the furry ones!).

These coverages are available to you, your spouse, and your dependent children. However, employees must have coverage for their spouse and children to obtain coverage.

Accident Insurance

No one plans for an accident, but Thrive Restaurant Group plans for your financial security. Our Guardian Accident Insurance provides a cash payment directly to you when a covered injury occurs, filling the gaps left by your medical plan. This financial cushion helps you recover without stress.

See a sample of payments below, and find complete details in the Summary of Benefits.

2nd Degree Burns $400 - $2,000
Ground Ambulance $300
Closed Fractures $100 - $4,000

Broken Tooth $125 -$400

Critical Illness Insurance

The signs pointing to a critical illness are not always clear and may not be preventable, but our coverage can help offer financial protection in the event you are diagnosed. Guardian’s group voluntary critical illness coverage provides a lump-sum cash benefit to help you cover the out-of-pocket expenses associated with a critical illness.

Hospital Indemnity Insurance

Important: This is a fixed indemnity policy, NOT health insurance.

Hospital Indemnity helps covered employees and their families cope with the financial impacts of a hospitalization. You can receive benefits when you’re admitted to the hospital for a covered accident, illness or childbirth* (elective surgeries excluded).

This fixed indemnity policy may pay you a limited dollar amount if you’re sick or hospitalized.

You’re still responsible for paying the cost of your care. Keep in mind:

  • The payment you get isn’t based on the size of your medical bill.
  • There might be a limit on how much this policy will pay each year.
  • This policy isn’t a substitute for comprehensive health insurance.

Since this policy isn’t health insurance, it doesn’t have to include most Federal consumer protections that apply to health insurance.

For a list of benefits, including exclusions and limitations, see the Hospital Indemnity Summary of Benefits.
